On 18 May 2024, Bay women development organization in partnership with Taakulo Somali Community had the opportunity of conducting women led-village discussion on role of women in grassroots peacebuilding in Berdale District.
The discussions aimed to emphasise the importance of women taking a lead role in peace and reconciliation which marks a significant milestone for the district. This is crucial for validating and encouraging women’s active participation and this will enhance peace and coexistence in the District.
