BWDO as part of implementing partners of NABAD Project: (Promoting Women-Led Grassroots Peacebuilding Towards Social Reconciliation), have conducted an inauguration ceremony for a 12-Moth peacebuilding campaign in Berdaale district. With this campaign BWDO will play a vital role locally-owned peacebuilding initiative through mediation and recolonization for the targeted groups.
Represent from the district authorities and key stakehold ers and CSOs participated the event, including the deputy District commissioner for political and security affairs, the District women representative.
All participants highlighted the importance of this activity particularly in Berdaale district which have been witnessed some inter communal conflict for last years.
