Fostering Unity and Harmony: A Peacebuilding Event in Berdale District Through Poetry and Dance

Today, we had the pleasure of conducting a Peacebuilding Social Cohesion Event in Berdale District, focusing on promoting harmony through poetry and traditional dance.
The event was officially opened by District Commissioner Mohamed Issack Aracas, who highlighted the importance of this session for fostering unity within the community and promoting good governance.
This initiative is part of the “NABAD: Promoting Women-Led Grassroots Peacebuilding Towards Social Reconciliation” project, supported by Acted Horn of Africa and funded by the UN Peacebuilding Fund #UNPBF .
Together, we aim to build stronger, more peaceful communities while celebrating our rich cultural heritage
